Swansea vs Chelsea – Preview and betting tips
Chelsea will travel in Wales to face Swansea City this Saturday from 15:00. The game is part of the 22th round in Premier League and the hosts are the underdogs without any doubt, but they should not be neglected.
Swansea City showed us that they are capable of interesting results against big teams in the last 2-3 seasons. The welsh side is coming after three bad games, winning only two points in the last three fixtures. Dyer and his teammates are on the 9th position, with 30 points and a 26-25 goal difference. Shelvey is still suspended for this game, while Montero is injured. Ki Sung-Yueng is with his national team so Britton will partner Carroll in the centre of the midfield.
The Blues are still leading Premier League after 21 fixtures. They have 49 points in their account and the best goal difference, with 46 goals scored and 19 conceded, having the best attack and the second best defence. Mourinho’s team has two points ahead Manchester City so it will be a very interesting title race. Mourinho will be without Azpilicueta, injured, while Courtois is in doubt, so Petr Cech is expected to start again.
Swansea vs Chelsea probable lineups:
Swansea (4-2-3-1): Fabianski – Richards, Fernandez, Williams, Taylor – Britton, Carroll – Dyer, Sigurdsson, Routledge – Gomis.
Chelsea (4-2-3-1): Cech – Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Luis – Matic, Fabregas – Willian, Oscar, Hazard – Costa.
Prediction: Under 2.5 goals @ 1.57
Altough we saw four goals per game in the last two meetings here, we expect a tight game now, considering that both teams have good defences and they will probably will not risk very much.
