marseille600x400Marseille vs Nantes – Preview and betting tips

The opening game of the 15th fixture in Ligue 1 will take place today from 19:30, UK Time, and will put face to face Marseille and Nantes, two teams that are in a very good form at the moment.

Marseille are still leading the table, despite they lost two of the least four league matches. OM have a total of 31 points and an impressive goal difference of 30-13, being one point ahead PSG and four ahead Lyon. They had seven points in front, but PSG recorded an excellent run. OM ticked six victories in the last six home league matches.

Nantes are also in a good form, proof that they are coming after five fixtures without defeat in Ligue 1, with two victories and three draws. They are on the fourth place at the moment, with 24 points in their account and a good goal difference, 13-9. Nantes have the best defence in France and when it comes about away matches they are on the third position in Ligue 1 from this point of view, with 11 points won out 18.

Last season Marseille won only one point against Nantes after 0-1 here and 1-1 away. Their last victory against Nantes at Stade Velodrome took place in 2009, 2-0.

Prediction: 1 @ 1.53
Marseille have the advantage of the own fans and they are very strong at Stade Velodrom, as we saw this campaign. the odds are ok right now for this bet, but their mission will not be an easy one.

napoli600x400Sparta Praga vs Napoli – Preview and betting tips

Sparta Praga and Napoli are fighting for the first place in Group I of Europa League and their “final” will take place today at 18:00, UK Time. This game is part of the 5th fixture of group stage and the odds are very balanced right now.

Sparta Praga impressed us this campaign. They started bad with a defeat against Napoli, 1-3 in Italy, but after that they recorded three clear victories, 3-1 with Young Boys, 3-0 and 4-0 with Slovan Bratislava. They are leading the group now, with nine points and the best goal difference in Group I, 11-4. Sparta Praga will have four missing player. To be more precise, Husbauer, Schick, Nespor and Breznanik are all injured.

Napoli will probably field a 4-2-3-1 formation as usual, but Rafa could rest his best players, proof that Higuain and Hamsik are not in the probable lineup. The italian side has nine points, same as Sparta Praga, but their goal difference is a weaker one, with eight goals scored and three conceded. Faouzi Ghoulam is the only missing player for Napoli.

Sparta Praga vs Napoli probable lineups:
Sparta Praga (4-3-3): Bicik – Kaderabek, Brabec, Holek, Nhamoinesu – Dockal, Vacha, Matejovsky – Konate, Lafata, Krejci.
Napoli (4-2-3-1): Cabral – Mesto, Henrique, Koulibaly, Britos – Gargano, Inler – Mertens, Guzman, Insigne – Zapata.

Prediction: X2 @ 1.40
There are no doubts about Napoli’s superiority and we saw that in the first leg as well. We expect the guests to win at least one point here, being stronger from almost every point of view.

chelsea600x400Schalke vs Chelsea – Preview and betting tips

The most exciting game of Uefa Champions League Group G will take place today from 19:45 and will put face to face Schalke 04 and Chelsea. The londoners have the first chance at bookmakers, but Schalke need a good result.

Schalke lost three of the last five competitive games. They are coming after a good result in Bundesliga, winning 3-2 at home against Wolfsburg. In UCL they are on the second place, with five points and an unimpressive goal difference of 8-9, with the worst defence in the group along with Maribor. Schalke need a good result here, otherwise Sporting Lisbon could pass in front of them. Draxler is the most important missing player for Schalke today.

Chelsea have no worries about a qualification place. They are leading the Group G with eight points, being the only team unbeaten in this group. Their goal difference, 9-2, is the best in this group by far. Mourinho will have no missing players for this away match, so we expect to see the best starting lineup, with Matic and Fabregas at the centre and Costa as the main striker, supported by Hazard and Willian on the flanks.

Schalke vs Chelsea probable lineups:
Schalke (4-2-3-1): Fahrmann – Uchida, Matip, Howedes, Fuchs – Aogo, Neustadter – Obasi, Boateng, Choupo-Moting – Huntelaar.
Chelsea (4-2-3-1): Courtois – Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Luis – Matic, Fabregas – Willian, Oscar, Hazard – Costa.

Prediction: 2 @ 1.80
The best odds for this bet are at Bwin right now. We expect Chelsea to confirm their excellent form and their superiority, winning the all three points here and securing the first place in Group G.

southamptonAston Villa vs Southampton – Preview and betting tips

The last game of 12th fixture in Premier League will take place today from 20:00, UK Time, at Villa Park. Aston Villa will host Southampton in a very interesting game. If we take a look at the odds there is no surprise, with Soton in pole-position.

Aston Villa are coming after a bad run of games, with only one point won in the last seven fixtures and with only one goal scored. After an excellent start of this campaign, Villa is out of form now, being on the 17th position on the table. They are first over the red line, with only one point more than Leicester City. Fabian Delph is still injured, while Benteke is suspended and will miss the game.

Southampton are in fabulous form, with four wins in the last four league games. They are on the second place right now, with 25 points and an impressive goal difference of 23-5, having the best defence in the league by far. If they will win this game, then they will be four points behind Chelsea and four ahead Manchester City. “The Saint” ticked three victories and two defeats away this campaign.

Aston Villa vs Southampton probable lineups:
Aston Villa (4-3-3): Guzan – Hutton, Okore, Clark, Cissokho – Cleverley, Sanchez, Westwood – N’Zogbia, Agbonlahor, Weimann.
Southampton (4-3-3): Forster – Clyne, Alderweireld, Fonte, Bertrand – Davis, Wanyama, Schneiderlin – Long, Pelle, Tadic.

Prediction: 2 @ 1.75
We expect Southampton to get all three points today at Villa Park, considering that they are in a very good form, unlike Aston Villa which struggled in the past 2-3 months.

chelsea600x400Chelsea vs West Brom – Preview and betting tips

The first game of the 12th fixture in Barclays Premier League is scheduled Saturday afternoon at 15:00 and will put face to face Chelsea and West Bromwich Albion. It is very clear which team has the first chance, both on the sheet and at bookmakers.

Chelsea will have no missing players for this game, but Cesc Fabregas and Andre Schurrle are in doubt. Relating to the english media, they will be fit for this match. Mourinho and his players are unbeaten this season in Premier League, leading the table with 29 points out of 33 and having the best goal difference in Premier League, 28-11.

West Brom managed to win seven points in five away games this season. They are struggling right now, being on the 13th place in Premier League. They have 13 points in their account, four more over the red line. WBA will be without Jonas Olsson, injured, while Sebastian Pocognoli is not 100% right now and he will probably be left home this weekend. It will be very interesting to see Andre Wisdom as a left back, with Gamboa on the right one.

Chelsea vs WBA probable lineup:
Chelsea (4-2-3-1): Courtois – Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta – Matic, Fabregas – Willian, Oscar, Hazard – Costa.
WBA (4-4-1-1): Foster – Gamboa, Dawson, Lescott, Wisdom – Dorrans, Gardner, Morrison, Brunt – Sessegnon – Berahino.

Prediction: Chelsea -1.5 AH @ 1.73
Chelsea won only two points last season against West Brom and they will try a revenge here. We expect them to confirm their superiority, winning this match without many problems, by a margin of at least two goals.

fulhamBrentford vs Fulham – Preview and betting tips

Brentford and Fulham will face each other Friday evening at 19:45, UK Time, in the 18th fixture of England Championship. The odds are very balanced right now, being a little difficult to say which team starts with first chance.

Bookmakers say that Brentford are in pole-position at the moment, with odds under 2.50 for a victory here. The home side is 6th in Championship, fighting for a play-off place this season and hoping for a promotion. The hosts won 28 points in 17 games so far, and their goal difference is a positive one, scoring 24 goals and conceding only 23.

Fulham are coming after a good run, proof that they recorded two wins and three draws in the last five fixtures. The londoners had a very bag start this campaign and this fact affected their position. To be more precise, Fulham are only on the 17th place in Championship, with 19 points and a bad goal difference, 27-31, being very hard for them to fight for promotion this season. The biggest problem for Fulham remains defence, the worst in Championship.

These two teams were face to face this season three months ago for the first time, in League Cup. Fulham managed to win that game, 1-0 on this stadium too.

Prediction: X2 @ 1.57
Both teams are coming after some good results and we expect a very tight game. Our recommandation is a double chance bet, with Fulham getting at least one point here.

fluminenseFluminense vs Chapecoense – Preview and betting tips

Thursday evening from 21:30 we will see one of the most interesting games of the 35th fixture in Brasileiro Serie A. Fluminense and Chapecoense will face each other, the hosts being in pole-position with the first chance in bookmakers offers.

Fluminense are coming after a good run in the league, proof that they won four of the last five games in Brasileiro Serie A. They are on the 7th position at the moment and they can be proud of their goal difference, 52-32, with the 3rd attack in Brazil. Fluminense are three points behind Top 4 and that’s why they need some good results in this final of the current campaign.

Chapecoense are fighting to avoid the relegation, but at the moment they are under the red line, with 36 points and a negative goal difference, 30-38. Chapecoense are the first ones in the relegation zone, one point behind Coritiba. The guests are in a very bad form, without victory in the last five games. They won only two away games out of 17, scoring only nine goals.

Fluminense vs Chapecoense probable lineups:
Fluminense (4-2-3-1): Cavalieri – Jean, Mattis, Marlon, Chiquinho – Valencia, Edson – Sobbs, Walter, Conca – Fred
Chapecoense (4-3-3): Danilo – Leismann, Lima, Grolli, Jussandro – Nemen, Silva, Diones – Camilo, Banana, Tiago Luis

Prediction: 1 @ 1.50
As we said, the home team is in a much better form, having a much stronger squad and we expect them to get the victory here, a victory they need to mantain their chances for Top 4 alive until the end.
