zenit600x400Zenit St. Petersburg vs Leverkusen – Preview and betting tips

One of the most interesting group in Uefa Champions League is the Group C. Zenit St. Petersburg will host Bayer Leverkusen tomorrow evening from 17:00 in the first game of Tuesday in UCL.

The russian side is a little in pole-position right now, Bwin offering the best odds for their victory, 2.45 at the moment. Hulk and his teammates won the first game in this group, 2-0 against Benfica, but after that they struggled in the next two matches, ticking a goalless draw against Monaco on this stadium and a clear defeat in Germany against Bayer, 0-2. Another bad result could see Zenit with small chances for a place in the next round of this competition.

Bayer Leverkusen had a bad start this edition in Champions League, losing against AS Monaco 0-1 away. After that, Schmidt’s team recorded two victories, 3-1 at home against Benfica and 2-0 against Zenit, as we said. Bayer Leverkusen are coming after an unexpected defeat in Bundesliga, 0-1 at Hamburg against one of the worst teams this season in Germany first division. Bayer are looking for their first away victory in the last ten weeks. The last one was in August, 2-0 against Dortmund.

Excepting the meeting won by Leverkusen two weeks ago, 2-0, these two sides were face to face in 2008 as well, the germans winnin 1-0 here after they lost 1-4 in front of their own fans.

Prediction: 1X @ 1.40

Zenit St. Petersburg have the advantage of the home pitch and this fact could be a very important one in a very balanced game like this one. We expect Hulk & co to get at least one point here and keep their hopes alive.

dortmund600x400Dortmund vs Galatasaray – Preview and betting tips

One of the most unbalanced game of Tuesday in Uefa Champions League will take place in Germany, where Borussia Dortmund will host Galatasaray. The match is part of the 4th round of group stage and the hosts are in pole-position, altough they are not the best form.

Borussia Dortmund had a very bad start in Bundesliga, being in the relegation zone right now, with only seven points after ten rounds. The situation is totally different if we talk about Champions League, proof that Klopp’s team is leading the Group D with nine points out of nine. If they won’ lose this match, then Dortmund will be 99.99% in the next round, remaining to fight for the first place with Arsenal. Dortmund recorded only a draw and two defeats in the last three home games.

Galatasaray are having real problems in Uefa Champions League, but they are getting better in Turkey Super Lig, sharing the first position with their arch rivals from Fenerbahce. When it comes about Champions League, the turkish side is on the 4th place in Group D, with only one point won so far after 1-1 against Anderlecht in September. After that Galata have lost against Arsenal, 1-4 away, and against Dortmund, 0-4 at Istanbul.

Borussia Dortmund managed to win the last meeting, 4-0 two weeks ago, as we said. Those two teams were face to face four more times in football history. Dortmund recorded two more wins, Galatasaray one victory and another game ended with a draw.

Prediction: Dortmund -1.5 AH @ 1.63
We expect Dortmund to continuie their excellent run in Uefa Champions League, despite their shameful display in Bundesliga. Our bet is that the german side will won this game by a margin of at least two goals.

Crystal Palace probable lineup (4-4-1-1): Speroni – Kelly, Hangeland, Delaney, Ward – Puncheon, Ledley, Jedinak, Bolasie – Chamakh, Campbell.

Sunderland had some problems as well so far, the away side being in a worst situation before this game. The Black Cats are the first in relegation zone, with only eight points in their account and one of the worst goal difference, 8-17. Sunderland won only one game so far and if we talk about away matches they scored only two goals. Ricardo Alvarez, Giaccherini, Coates and Billy Jones will miss the game due to some injuries.

Sunderland probable lineup (4-1-4-1): Mannone – Vergini, O’Shea, Brown, Aanholt – Cattermole – Johnson, Larsson, Rodwell, Buckley – Fletcher.
